We are rejuvenating, regenerating & reinvigorating the whole Club!
Golf Croquet has been played very successfully on the on the Green since last year, and the Croquet Section has been incorporated into the Club.
This Year, 2012, our Diamond Jubilee Year (shared with H.M. The Queen!) we are now `Little Gaddesden Bowls and Croquet Club’ or L.G.B.C.C.
We have given the entire Clubhouse a complete facelift to celebrate!
A new roof, new windows, smart paintwork, specialist insulation, new plumbing, heating, lighting & rewiring, new kitchen, and complete internal Clubhouse overhaul means we are much more comfortable!
At last we can use the Clubhouse during the winter months, and be in a position to offer the Clubhouse for private functions.
Saturday 28the April @ Noon to 4pm Do come along to try out Bowls & Croquet with a Jazz Band, Bar, and Finger Food.
All Full Club Members can play Bowls AND Croquet!

We play on our beautiful Green from May to the end of September, and then indoors at Dunstable Leisure Centre on Mondays 10-12 during the winter months.
We have a quarterly colour Newsletter, and organise Fun Days, Dinners, Fund-Raisers & Social Events throughout the year.
Full Member £80 for either or both Bowls and Croquet. Members get their own Clubhouse Key. Can play in matches & socially with friends or family borrowing equipment and use of Clubhouse (by prior booking).
Come to practice sessions, play competitively, & support the club socially.
Family Membership £90 for 2 adults + 2 children under 18 years (extra £10 each for additional children). Family Members have the right to come to roll-ups and/or play either sport up to 6 times in a season. Rest of the category rules are as per Recreational Membership (below)
Recreational Member £60 for either or both Bowls and Croquet. Pay for a Clubhouse Key. Come to practice sessions for either or both sports. Can play socially with friends or family & borrow equipment (by prior booking), invited to all social events.
Affiliated Club Member £40 for one or other sport only. Designed for Bowls and Croquet Members from other clubs allowing them to come to practice sessions and play for LGBCC. Can use the Clubhouse & Equipment providing an LGBCC Full Member is present.
Can book the Green by prior consent from the Fixtures Secretary. Invited to social events.
Associate Member £15 Reserved for former members who can no longer play. Invited to all fixtures and social events.
Friend of LGBCC – Our Fan Club. For a £10+ donation, you will get the Club News, be invited to support us at fixtures and be invited to all Social Events. Each Friend gets a Lapel Badge & is warmly invited into the Clubhouse.
There is a blue A5 2012 Booking Diary in the Clubhouse for Green Booking. Just put your name & telephone number in book, sport being played, number of players (or lanes if Bowls) with a start and approx. end time. If clashes occur then full Club members will have priority. Equipment is available on loan from the Club, and will be placed in an accessible shed for general use. We ask only that flat soled shoes are worn on the Green and that animals be kept off it!
